Meet Anna
Anna Brachey, Ed.S., NCC
National Certified Counselor
Associate Professional Counselor
Certified Trauma Professional
Certified Telemental Health Provider Associate
Life is full of choices, opinions, and unexpected twists and turns. It has become increasingly difficult to know the path forward, let alone to even hear your own thoughts. Hi, my name is Anna and I can help you to unravel and disrupt the unhelpful messages you've received along your journey.
I have extensive training and over 6 years of experience working with adolescents and their families as a professional school counselor. With experience working in the school setting, I specialize in working with clients and their families on a wide range of issues that can make school and life so challenging including anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship issues.
I enjoy helping individuals navigate the balance between academic/career demands and social pressures in a way that cultivates mental and emotional wellness.
I am skilled in using Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to reframe patterns of thinking and build on your existing strengths and coping skills. My favorite part of being a counselor is creating a safe space to join my clients on their path toward healing, exploring challenges and discovering strengths and strategies to overcome barriers to make progress towards reaching their personal and professional goals.
I am supervised by Dr. Chinwe' Williams, LPC, CPCS and I have availability after school and evenings.
If you are interested in learning more and seeing if we would be a good fit for your goals, call today for a free 15 minute consultation.
